Rumours continue to circulate as to the value of the first ESP Dreamscape flyer (known as "Dreamscape I" or "Dreamscape 1"). These may have been fueled in part by a memorabilia company's press releases in 2003, one of which indicated a value for the DS1 flyer approximately 5000 times more than it was worth. Following is an (incomplete) list of winning bids on eBay from August 2003 to April 2005, and March 2006 to March 2007. (The figures for the period May 2005 to February 2006 are available, and will be added at some point.) All the data comes from winning bids for sales of individuals DS1s found using a basic "rave flyer*" search, plus a few other sales found with more specialised searches. (See below for tips on finding DS flyers on eBay.) Although often advertised as "rare", DS1 is one of the commonest flyers sold individually on eBay. finding Dreamscape flyers on eBay Most DS flyers can be found on eBay using the query term - - with the "in titles & descriptions" box checked. Clicking "view seller's other items" will sometimes find misspellings ("Dreemscape"), typos ("Dreamscaep") and wrong event names ("Dreamstate"). Note - the two Dreamscape flyers, Bath & West Showground (26 Jul 91) and Zodiac Dance Studios (31 Jan 92) are for events put on by Dreamscape Promotions, a separate organisation from ESP. |
