: Just recently an ebay auction for 1000+ flyers went for over £1000.

i heard about this auction but didn't see it - is it true the bids leapt up from about £200 to £1020 - hmm... maybe they forgot the stepped bidding option? if anyone remembers details of the bidding history i'd be interested to know

: This bidder owns www..com

i visited there, but no mention of rave flyers - hard to see how extensive their stocks are - mainly pop/rock presumably? eg 30+ Beatles items (front covers of old music mags, promo postcards, books, songbooks) going for £15-£30

: Basically there is a bidder on ebay buying up ALL flyers regardless of how rare they are.

well, certainly buying some - at the moment they've got bids going on 1 out of 4 lots at Ebay, so maybe they're being selective

: so I reckon they are building up a collection

could be... it's conceivable a large mint well-organised collection of early 90s flyers containing most of the classics (Raindance, Dreamscape, Fantazia etc) could work out at a quid per flyer

: So you could sell the flyers in one lot and prob get bout £300 - £500 or maybe sell in smaller lots and see if you can get more £££

for ref current lots of UK rave flyers at Ebay are (bids in UK pounds) -

100 flyers (1992-2002, mixed) - minimum bid 100.00 - no bids
16+ flyers (early 90s) - current bid 3.20 - 5 bids
21 flyers (1992/3) - current bid 12.00 - 1 bid (.com)
40+ flyers (1993/4) - current bid 4.99 - no bids
