PIANO JUNKIES: The Biography
Collection of Oldskool / Nu skool / Nu Rave & Harcore breaks DJs who are smashing the scene with high energy djs sets and all new Piano tracks and future rave anthems with that mid 90's oldskool vibe !!! !
formed in October 2010, the Piano junkies have had massive success to date ( with there own tracks amassing over 60,000 online plays up to april 2012 alone ) And gained massive support from such djs as ( Dj Sy / Hixxy / Faydz / Twista / Vinyl Junkie to name a few !! )and they are quickly becoming one of the oldskool / rave scenes most in demand names !
2011 saw the Piano Junkies very 1st official remix of "Runaway" by Eddie Voyager ( which was done for the Held II Ransom Label ) was supported by none other than Dj Kutski on BBC radio 1
September 2011 saw them nominated for 5 awards in total @ Nu rave awards in london , Of which they won "best breakthrough producers of 2011" voted for by the online ravers / clubbers & djs. They also saw their future rave anthem "9mm" come in 2nd in the "track / remix of the year" ( this track was also a No.1 hit in the top 100 breaks tracks on track itdown )
2012 has seen the success continue after doing a new series of mixes to push the nu rave sounds up north " Rave Breaks - Oldskool On Steroids" Vol 1 - 4 ( which has had over 10,000 plays in less than 10 months ) it was these has that lead to them being booked @ the legendary ( Hardcore till i die ) events by the 1 and only DJ Hixxy !! they are now being booked up and down the country to feature at some of the biggest events in the oldskool / rave scene today
