I recently picked up this flyer on the bay and thought that id see what everyone else thinks about it.
Ive got a few "London Jam Co" letters from January 89 and in there they mention that after the first 3 Apocalypse Now Parties in 88 at the Wembley Film Studios they left the Apocalypse Now name to somebody else and started Sunrise which is what i think this flyer is, maybe the start of the Infamous Sunrise.
Reading the flyer it sounds like they had an after hours club somewhere called Sunrise before they did any allnighters.
I think this flyer is definately pre "The Mystery Trip" because the contact numbers on this flyer are the same as the Mystery Trip ones. In part 3 "Guy Fawkes" only one of the contact numbers is the same and by part 4 "Boxing Day" they have both changed so this is definately a London Jam Co Flyer.
I spoke to a guy a few months ago who gave out flyers for the early Sunrise parties and he said that he watched the Sunrise logo being produced. Apparently a girl copied it free hand from a kids book and they used it eversince.
Anybody ever seen any Club Sunrise Flyers from 88? If they ever did any, i noticed that in Weeds flyer Bible there is an event called "La Beat Route" which was put on by Sunrise maybe this was one of them.
