there's some links to flyer designers on the Hyperreal flyers links page (see link below)
Pez had a great site at pez.org.uk for several years - but it looks like it's disappeared*, which is a real shame - hope it comes back - as well as telling the story how he got into doing flyers, and memories of the early days, there were lots of examples of his work
there's also been contributions to this message board from flyer artists (including Pez - see Dec 2003 thread, "What is the best software for rave flyers?")
