i've just been checking out flickr.com, Yahoo's online photo management and sharing application
looks ideal for casual use, putting up flyer pics for others to view online - easy to set up, easy to use, choice of public/selective/private viewing, use of tags for selecting flyers (so it's easy to provide a link to a page containing just the relevant pics, as in my "cricket" post yesterday)
limits for the free version are upload bandwidth of 20MB a month, only the last 200 pics that have been uploaded are viewable, max individual image size 5MB - but presumably it's possible to open up multiple accounts if necessary
handles jpg, gif (non-animated), and png formats - various upload facilities (web and by email) - allows visitors to add info/comments to individual pics
i've not done anything with it apart from upload a few pics just to try it out, but haven't had any problems so far
