I can remember there was another Rave on at the time in Lechlade Nr Swindon.
I went both friday night and all day saturday and staurday night here's the good and the bad.
Friday night was a blast , The Spiral Tribe tent was kickin and was probably the most packed our of all the tents. Constantly being harassed asking if we wanted E's, mushrooms and blow but just turned a blind eye. Had an awesome night and some top music. Left there Saturday morning at 8:30am and went home to have a few hours sleep and freshen up.
Returned back to Castle Morton at 6:00 pm and got a dog meat burger ( dunno what it was but tasted like s**t ) from the Monster Eating Gerbil Cafe.
Well, it was a really good night again until around 5am, when my Boyfriends mate was given some blow to make a joint. He thought the guy wanted him to make him one and next thing wanted the money!! Well, as we didn't want any trouble the Boyfriend just thought he'd give them the money for it which was £7.50. Holy S**t he'd been pick pocketed and was the only one with money and in his wallet was just over £35 !!
He tried to explain to the guy that he'd had his money taken out of his pocket but the guy wasn't having any of it. After about 10 mins the atmospere was getting very uncomfortable and said ' look we need to get out of here ' as a lot of people were looking at us and bumping past.
So we left and went to the Car and Boyfriend said that he could sense some bad s**t going down!!
His Mate and Me were confused and we Sat in the car for about Half An Hour waiting for the Boyfriend to compose himself as he was shaking.
Then we left went down the dirt track only to come to a halt with the traffic not moving, with a couple of cars in front of us.
We sat and waited for about 30 mins, and then this guy came to the window and said 'sorry bout this but the Van ahead of us has broken down ' and if we reversed we could get out by going up to the hill and pointed over there.
The Boyfriend said no probs and didn't mind waiting as he didn't know the area and only knew this way back.
Well we waited and during this time the boyfriend said that it sounded dodgy, cos why didn't they just push the Van out of the way and could have been a trap and wasn't taking that chance.
Well 2 hours later they got the Van moved, but all during that time our car was tapped with spanners and all sorts of objects as people went past and was then that I felt very uncomfortable as well as my boyfriends mate.
Luckily another group of our friends had got out before us and knew something was up and got the Police involved and there were untold Riot Vans. All the way back we were being followed by cars with large ariels on them that looked like CB aerials.
This was for Real and was unreal, but he did some very good driving and overtaking and out drove them in the end. Just as we'd get past 1, further up the road another car with a large aerial in a layby would pull out ahead of us.
From that day I never went to another Rave again and the boyfriends mate said afterwards, that he'd saved our lives and was so grateful.
I realised afterwards, what with all that had happened, that it could've turned out bad and was glad the Boyfriend had made the decisions he'd made, as us too were totally oblivious at the beginning.
Oh well that was it cutting the story short LOL.
