: ill send you a scan of the xmas

thanks for that :)

: wud it be possible to add it to the archive at all?

not sure what u mean by archive - but maybe this is a good opportuntity to say what's happening with my online flyer stuff -

1) there's pics in the price guide for all the flyers sold individually that i know about - this isn't meant to be a gallery, just a guide - am slowly adding links to specialist galleries - wish there were more of them around

2) the hyperreal gallery is intended to have pics of both sides of all older flyers in chronological order (UK and non-UK) with an extensive cross-referenced index, but so far am only up to the end of july 89 - there's a backlog of flyer scans for 88/early 89 i've been sent which have yet to be added - when that's done i'll be tackling august 89 - but cos of the time it takes (not to mention keeping up to date the 90% of my web pages which aren't to do with flyers), september 89 might have to wait till the next reincarnation

3) all older (80s/90s) UK flyers i come across get added to a (text only) database (downloadable from hyperreal) - without this i'd be lost :)

unfortunately it was originally designed for my own use, to keep track of flyer exchanges with other collectors - so it's great for anyone used to querying databases (eg answering questions such as "what's the date of that early 90s Mansfield flyer with the giraffe on it?"), and it's just about usable with Excel, but it's unwieldy with word processors - it really needs to be accessible online with a custom front-end - but that's been a major project hanging round my neck since 1996

any bored postgress experts out there looking for something to do? :)
