hi The Man,
i think your post has to come under the category of personal abuse, and in normal circumstances would be unacceptable
however in this case, the previous poster was writing in to say he was *not* interested in the message he was replying to, and as a company name was prominently displayed, it must be considered spam - and the persecution of spammers is an activity which shd be thought of as a computerised field sport
after all if everyone here replied to all the posts they were *not* interested in, then it wd become very silly indeed
unfortunately the purpose of such posts is not necessarily just to inform the readers of the message board - it also increases the chances of the poster's company being found in search engine results - so at some point i may be tempted to do some editing
