: Weed, Do you think that a complete uninterupted set may have some additional vaue if it were to become available for sale, due to the unusual nature of the set. I mean its not every day this sort of set would be availible in one purchase, kind of that would make it quite possibly a unique opportunity dont you think? Let me know what you think!! DB
hi DB
(i've moved yr post + my reply back to orginal thread so it's easier to follow)
i take your point - and you're probably right... as long as u can find a buyer
if you're selling on eBay, it depends a lot on who's wanting to buy at the time - in February a collection of DS1-8 inclusive went for 41.00 - a couple of weeks later a single DS1 goes for 51.00
tho DS1 prices going wild at the moment with some new sellers valuing it at twice the usual sale price, and new buyers not always bothering to look round eBay (where it can sometimes be found at half the price they're paying)
value also affected by the condition of the flyers, and on what the other events are (some of these may be more valuable than the ones in the numbered series)
maybe it's worth waiting a while? IMO prices for DS flyers are unlikely to go down over the next 12 months
