: : Paint SHop Pro is very good and they do the airbrush thing as well within the package.
:
: yes PSP is fine... tho Pez doesn't use "the air-brush thing" - he uses a real airbrush, the thing u blow thru that leaves speckles over everyone and everything in the vicinity (at least it did the time i tried using one)
:
: most graphics people i know use Photoshop for basic image manipulation (preferred plugin probably kai power tools) - and they use Illustrator for general text and drawing - but they also use lots of other packages as and when needed (for certain font effects, morphing, specialised rendering, transformations etc)
:
: Quark Express might also be used if it's for print output (rather than the web)
I agree, you can use just about anything and everything to make a flyer, just try it all. I know i can do wonders in psp, photoshop is another well known package, though since i first started using both of these psp was always the fastest ( not necessarily better, as graphics apps always take up a lot of memory )but faster than photoshop.
As for airbrushing, i remember doing it in nursery school and honestly didnt realise you could make anything as good as what pez pumps out by blowing through a straw..? I have seen electric airbrushes which do the blowing for you and are easier to control... anyhows it would take a long time to master the fine art that is ..... flyers !!!
To reach the standard of PEZ, you would need to be extraordinary in art b4 you start..!!!
